Robin Etherington

Robin Etherington MA, MLPW, CMM III has 30 years of professional work experience in the culture area, including working at national and international museums such as ROM, Canadian Museum of Civilization, Glenbow Museum, National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico, Guelph Museums, RCMP Heritage Centre and now Executive Director of The Bytown Museum.

Robin has taught at the college level and thoroughly enjoys speaking in public and working with people. She has a Master’s degree in Museum Studies, an MA in Language and Professional Writing and won a CMA national award for museum management. Robin has extensive experience working at various levels of government, including for municipal governments managing professional personnel, capital projects, strategic planning and heritage and cultural planning and policy development initiatives. In addition, Robin also has professional experience in the private sector having worked as a technical communicator for Nortel Networks.
