Professor Al Moritz Brings his Poetry to the U.K.

In August, Al Moritz (Blake C. Goldring Professor of the Arts and Society, Vic One Program) will read from his current book of poems The New Measures (published April 2012) in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and in London at Canada House.

In Edinburgh, Moritz will read at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, at Summerhall (Fringe Venue 26, located at Summerhall Place). The group reading will also include the prominent Scottish poet Douglas Dunn, and Canadian poets Ian Burgham and Catherine Graham.

In London, Moritz will read at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, at Canada House, in Trafalgar Square. This event is also a group reading, in which Moritz, Burgham, and Graham will read along with Canadian poet resident in England, Todd Swift, who will be launching a new book on that evening.
