Nestor Rogriguez

 

Néstor E. Rodríguez is an Associate Professor specialized in contemporary Latin American and Caribbean studies. He is the author of Escrituras de desencuentro en la República Dominicana (Siglo XXI, 2005, translated into English as Divergent Dictions: Contemporary Dominican Literature, 2010), winner of the Caribbean Thought Award in Mexico in 2004. His essays and academic articles have appeared in the most prestigious journals of Hispanism, as well as in numerous literary magazines of Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Puerto Rico and his native Dominican Republic. As a poet he is the author of Animal pedestre (Puerto Rico, 2004) and El desasido (Mexico, 2009).
