Robert C. Brandeis has taught in the English Department at the University of Western Ontario and at Huron College (UWO) before coming to Victoria as Chief Librarian (now emeritus). He has taught in the University Of Toronto Department Of English specializing in modern British and American Literature, 20thC Canadian fiction and the history of the novel. Research interests include ancient and modern narratives and 19thC publishing.
