Laura fell into tech because of my growing need to solve a problem that she encountered everyday for years. Companies came to Laura because they could not find the right people, and people came to me because they could not find the right employer. She was able to play "matchmaker" by understanding the vision, goals, motivations, personality, values etc. on both sides - job specs and skill sets are only a small part of the equation. The first plat form that she built was to address this was a very basic automated version of her,which has since gone through multiple pivots and iterations.
Laura describes her journey: It has been a rollercoaster, but every sacrifice, challenge, pivot and sometimes painful lesson has been worth it to get to CultureVibes. The tech community especially in Toronto is filled with absolutely amazing people – talent and founders alike, so having the opportunity to solve this challenge while serving the people that inspire me every day is an incredible gift.
Lianne Vineberg is the Technical Talent Lead at Wealthsimple. Lianne is a people and talent leader who uses her experience in recruitment, talent management, and growth to build world-class teams. She has held leadership roles at Thorek/Scott & Partners, Hubba, and is currently the Technical Talent Lead at Wealthsimple.

He loves everything diversity & inclusion related and never stop stalking about the Canadian technology scene and the awesome work being done by local entrepreneurs. You’ll usually find Taylor biking year-round on the hunt for Toronto’s best bagels & coffee.

AJ is the Executive Director of Palette Inc. and a Fellow at the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship. AJ spent six years within the provincial government serving as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Ministry of Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Community and Social Services. She is the co founder of SoJo, a startup social enterprise dedicated to working with educators and nonprofits to provide curriculum and tools to train aspiring social entrepreneurs in the startup process. AJ has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a Masters in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.
