RESIDENCE DEPOSITS

All new and returning students are required to a pay non-refundable amount of $625.00. Payments can be made online after submitting the residence application. $600.00 of the amount will appear as a credit on your university fees invoice. The remaining $25.00 is a non-refundable application fee.

RESIDENCE PERIOD

Move-In

First year students –scheduled move-in time on Sunday September 1, 2019.
Returning students - 12 noon on Monday, September 2, 2019.

Winter Holidays

Residences close at 10am, Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Residences re-open at Noon, Sunday, January 5, 2020.

All students are required to vacate their rooms for the duration of this period.

Move-out

Students are required to vacate their rooms within 48 hours of their last final exam or academic commitment in April (or on the last day of the residence period – April 26, 2020).

Residence Withdrawal Policy
Students who leave residence during session will be held financially responsible as follows:

MEAL PLAN FEES
All students who live in residence are required to purchase a meal plan from the following selection.
Meal Plan Options and Availability:
First Year Students may choose options A or B.
Second, Third and Fourth year Students may choose options A, B or C.
No substitutions allowed between Vic Dollars and Ned’s Meal Dollars.
Meal Plan A (Minimum) – Cost $5,074.00 - 315 meals, $375.00 Vic Dollars, 10 Guest Passes
Meal Plan B (Regular) – Cost $5,600.00 - 355 meals, $375.00 Vic Dollars, 10 Guest Passes
Meal Plan C (Upper) – Cost $4,415.00 – 261 meals + $500 Ned’s meal dollars (no substitutions) + $200 Vic Dollars (taxable).
There are no refunds for unused meals, Ned’s Meal Dollars or Vic Dollars. Unused meals cannot be converted to VIC dollars or Ned’s Meal Dollars. There is no carryover of meals and Ned’s meal dollars at the end of your residence contract; however remaining Vic Dollars may be spent throughout the summer months and can be carried over until the end of the calendar year (December 2020), provided that you are a registered student. Carried over Vic Dollars are taxable.
MEAL SERVICE INFORMATION
Students are not able to switch meal plans after September 15, 2019.
Victoria serves 19 meals a week: three meals are served on weekdays; brunch and dinner are served on weekends, holidays and during Reading Week(November 4-8, 2019) (February 17-21, 2020). Regular meal service begins at dinner on September 1, 2019. The last meal in December is dinner on December 20, 2019 and the first meal back after the winter break is dinner on January 5, 2020. No meal service is provided during the winter break. The last meal in second term is dinner on April 25, 2020.
