One-on-one Career Advising Appointments
Book a one-on-one career advising appointment with Kathy Vi Mac (Student Success and Career Advisor) to chat about your career questions. Appointments are available throughout the year. There are a variety of appointment types such as resume and cover letter reviews, interview skills, job search tips, and more. You can also book an appointment for a personalized mock interview. Whether you have a career goal in mind, or are searching for one, an advising appointment can support you to consider your options and next steps.
Advising appointments are currently offered online over Microsoft Teams. However, if it is a priority for you to meet in-person, please reach out to Kathy at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
In addition to advising appointments, Vic also offers a suite of career programs. Vic’s holistic future-readiness program Vic Ready is open to all students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th+ year. Many other career workshops take place throughout the academic year and are open to all students. Some examples of past career programs include:
- Making Friends & Building Your Network
- Plotting Your Path: Exploring Your Career Options
- Identifying Your Skills
- Back to Basics: Resumes & Cover Letters
- Crash Course: Interview Skills
- Summer Job Searching
- and so much more!
