Graduates Holiday Lecture
Everyone is welcome to ring in the holiday season at the annual Victoria College Graduates Holiday Lecture (formerly the Graduates Christmas Luncheon).
About this Event: This year's event will feature "The Fine Art and Science of Cave Diving", a talk by Dr. Jill Heinerth, Hon. 2T3. Victoria College proudly bestowed an Honorary Degree on Heinerth at the 2023 Charter Day Convocation in October.
About the Speaker: Dr. Jill Heinerth Hon. 2T3 has blazed a trail into the planet, exploring lava tubes beneath the seafloor, submerged caves inside icebergs and the deepest recesses of the world’s oceans. Heinerth’s dynamic presentation inspires us to reach beyond their limitations, challenge the unknown, and overcome fears. She shares remarkable experiences and lessons learned in the deadly arena of extreme underwater exploration and adventure filmmaking, applying her practical knowledge to share lessons on risk management, discovery learning, and collaboration.
